Tungku: The Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism through the Department of Agriculture and Agrifood held the 10th Exposure Programme for Youths with Potential in Agriculture. The inauguration ceremony took place on the morning of 23rd June at the Post Harvest Services and Training Centre, Tungku.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Awang Hirman bin Haji Abu, Acting Assistant Director of Agriculture, stated that the programme aims to attract youth interest in agriculture and transform the field into a profitable business by using advanced technology to increase yields for lucrative returns. Twenty youths are participating in the 8-day programme that commenced on 23rd June. Throughout the programme, the participants will engage with technological systems designed to enhance yields through practical placements at selected farms.
