Bandar seri begawan: A variety of performances continue to enliven festive stages in conjunction with His Majesty’s 79th Birthday Celebration in all districts on 10th August night.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the capital featured the ‘Pendekar Awang Maharu’ theatrical performance, which was attended by Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Daud bin Jihan, Member of the Legislative Council.
The Lavender Live Band Show brought vibrancy to the festive stage in Belait District, organised by Kugiran Lavender. Awang Muhammad Faiq bin Haji Rani, Assistant Belait District Officer, was present for the occasion.
In Tutong District, a theatrical night performance on Brunei’s legend, Nakhoda Manis, was showcased, organised by Lakap Lagor Entertainment. The event was attended by Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, Member of the Legislative Council.
Singing performances by Brunei’s local artist group were featured in Temburong District, with Yang Berhormat Haji Awang Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, Member of the Legislative Council, among those present.
