Bandar seri begawan: The festive stage, part of the celebrations for His Majesty’s 79th Birthday, continued on the night of August 3rd with a series of lively performances across various districts.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the Malam Dendangan Syahdu Pertandingan Lagu Joget Berpasangan added a touch of joy to the festive stage in the capital. The event saw the presence of Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Lawi bin Haji Lamat, a Member of the Legislative Council. This competition was organized by the Mukim Serasa Consultative Council.
In the Belait District, the spirit of competition was high as four bands participated in the second screening stage of the ‘Battle Of The Band’. This event has generated much anticipation, with the final stage of the competition slated for Saturday.
Meanwhile, the festive stage in Tutong District was animated by a Pentarama performance. This event was organized by the Information Department of the Prime Minister’s Office through the Nationhood Unit, in collaboration with the Tutong District Information Branch. The performance was attended by Awang Ajman bin Haji Meludin, the Permanent Secretary for Civil Service Governance at the Prime Minister’s Office.
In Temburong District, the Festive Stage was brought to life with the Brunei Legend History Theatre Night, organized by ‘Lakap Lagur Entertainment’. The event was graced by Awang Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar, the Acting Temburong District Officer.
