Bandar Seri Begawan: 14 heads of families received financial assistance from the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam through the Department of Community Development, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The event took place at the ministry's building.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the recipients were those who fell victim to incidents of collapsed houses, floods, fires, and strong winds. All victims and house occupants involved in the disaster are safe and did not suffer any injuries. On hand to present the financial assistance was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
