Financial Awareness Roadshow at UTB

The savings culture and prudent spending since early age can bring financial peace. Parents play an important role in educating their children to save, spend wisely and to avoid debt. The advice was shared by Yang Berhormat Awang Iswandy bin Ahmad, Member of the Legislative Council during the Financial Awareness Roadshow in conjunction with National Savings Day 2019. The event took place this morning at Universiti Teknologi Brunei.

Yang Berhormat also encouraged youths to start their savings from a young age as the risk is lower compared to an adult.

The roadshow is one of Authority Monetary Brunei Darussalam, AMBD's initiatives to develop a financially literate and independent generation. Various activities and interactive games based on financial management and currency were held during the roadshow.
