Madinah: The first haj flight carrying Brunei Darussalam's intending pilgrims aboard Royal Brunei's flight BI4201 landed safely at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport at approximately 3:48 in the afternoon Madinah time. The group comprised 254 individuals who were greeted by His Excellency Awang Haji Harun bin Haji Junid, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Awang Haji Farhan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Putera Maharaja Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Ghani, Acting Consul General of Brunei Darussalam in Jeddah, was also present.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the pilgrims are divided into two groups based on their travel packages. A total of 150 pilgrims are traveling under the package offered by Straits Central Agencies Sendirian Berhad, while the remaining 104 pilgrims are under the package provided by Darussalam Services Sendiran Berhad.
