Tutong: The ‘Pesta Kanakan Jati’ food festival was organized by the Mukim Telisai Consultative Council along with Village Consultative Councils under Mukim Telisai as part of the Brunei December Festival (BDF). The event took place at Kampung Danau Jetty in Tutong District.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the festival was attended by Awang Haji Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, the Acting Tutong District Officer. The festival featured a decorated parade and activities aimed at supporting the BDF, contributing to the lively weekend atmosphere in Tutong District. Local vendors and village residents participated in the event, providing a range of local delicacies for visitors to enjoy.
