Kuala belait: Four foreigners were arrested during 'Operasi Kakas' by the Department of Immigration and National Registration, Kuala Belait Branch, targeting the surrounding areas in Mukim Belait.
According to Radio Television Brunei, three of the individuals were believed to have committed an offence under the Immigration Regulations, Chapter ONE SEVEN, specifically working for a different employer. The fourth individual was suspected of overstaying in the country after his immigration pass had expired, and also of abetting an immigration offence under the Immigration Regulations, Chapter ONE SEVEN.
