The Brunei Darussalam Giant-Sized flag, which has been hoisted majestically in the capital since the 1st of July in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 76th Birthday Celebration, was lowered in the Open Area of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex, 30th July afternoon.
The Lowering of the National Giant-Sized Flag Ceremony marks the end of the personal flag hoisting for Pengiran-Pengiran and those who are bestowed with titles; and the Brunei Darussalam Flag for the public, including in buildings and business premises. The giant-sized national flag was handed over to Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Matsatejo bin Sokiaw, Deputy Minister of the Department of Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office.
