Bandar seri begawan: The Grand Assembly and Procession for this year’s National Level Maulidur Rasul celebration will be held simultaneously in all districts on the 6th of September, starting at 7 in the morning. To ensure the event runs smoothly, a full rehearsal took place at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien, Bandar Seri Begawan, on the morning of the 4th of September.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the rehearsal was attended by prominent figures, including Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris bin Pengiran Maharaja Lela Pengiran Muda Abdul Kahar, Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara. Also present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs, and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs. This year’s celebration carries the theme “Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam An Example of A Peaceful, Harmonious and Loving Family.”
