Bandar seri begawan: The Haj and Umrah Guide Professional Certificate Programme has been launched as a proactive initiative to develop professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated Haj and Umrah Accompanying Officers or Guides. The programme, organised by the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB through the Centre for Training and Competency Enhancement, marks its inaugural session with the participation of 30 attendees.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the four-month programme encompasses seven modules, including an Introduction to Haj and Umrah Management in Brunei Darussalam, a Complete Haj and Umrah Manasik Guide, and Effective Dakwah Communication in Haj and Umrah Guidance. Facilitators from KUPU SB and relevant agencies conduct the programme, focusing on equipping participants with essential technical skills, syariah knowledge, and work ethics.
