Halal Awareness Programme Held to Educate on Halalan Tayyiban Principles

Tutong: The Ministry of Religious Affairs, through the Halal Food Control Unit, Tutong District Branch, conducted a Halal Awareness Programme at the Multipurpose Hall of the office. The initiative aimed to enhance community knowledge and awareness about implementing the Halalan Tayyiban principle in managing both food and non-food products, including cosmetics.

According to Radio Television Brunei, over 30 participants, including new converts and non-Muslims from the district, took part in the programme. The event featured briefings on several aspects, such as the role of Halal Supervisors in the early stages, maintaining food quality, and applying Halal Toyyiban principles in the preparation process of food and other products. The programme serves as an introductory platform, particularly for those interested in entrepreneurship related to food preparation and the production of halal products.
