Sungai Layong: Half of the road at Sungai Layong Bridge, Jalan Tanjung Maya will be temporarily closed starting from the 18th until the 21st of June 2025.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the Public Works Department has announced that the closure is necessary for asphalt resurfacing works, which will take place from 9 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon.
Road users are advised to remain cautious and adhere to the traffic signage and speed limits in the area during this period. Additionally, a complete closure of the road and parking lot at Jalan Lorong Bunga Melor, Seria will occur on the 18th of June, starting at 6 in the evening.
The temporary closure at Jalan Lorong Bunga Melor is due to sewer pipe investigation works and will continue until the completion of the works. An alternative road route will be provided for affected road users.
