Health Infrastructure Upgrades and Legislative Amendments Discussed in Session

According to Radio Television Brunei, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, the Minister of Health, highlighted efforts to upgrade existing health infrastructure. This includes implementing interim measures aimed at enhancing the efficiency of health facility utilization.

In a related discussion, Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, the Minister of Religious Affairs, addressed career paths for teaching staff. He shared that the assessment of guidelines for the religious teachers scheme is underway to ensure sustainability and alignment with current needs.

Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, discussed ongoing efforts to expedite the review and amendment of the Children and Young Person’s Act, Chapter 19. This includes related legislative efforts to enhance protection against exploitation.
