Mukim kilanas: Congregants from six mosques in Mukim Kilanas participated in the Hijrah Walkathon ‘Minal Masjid Ilal Masjid’ to commemorate the 1447 Hijrah New Year on the morning of June 28th. The walkathon commenced at Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque, Kampung Bebatik-Kilanas, and concluded at Kampung Bunut Mosque, serving as a tribute to the spirit and sacrifice involved in the Prophet Muhammad’s migration.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event saw participation from Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism. It was a collaborative effort organized by the Mukim Kilanas Consultative Council and the mosques within Mukim Kilanas, with support from the Department of Mosque Affairs, Ministry of Religious Affairs. Also present was Yang Berhormat Awang Amran bin Haji Maidin, a Member of the Legislative Council.
