His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri, yesterday afternoon arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to attend the Installation Ceremony of His Majesty the 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia. Accompanying Their Majesties were His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Wakeel; Her Royal Highness Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bolkiah and Her Royal Highness Princess Ameerah Wardatul Bolkiah. Also accompanying were Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar.
Present at Subang Air Base to welcome the arrival of His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri were His Majesty the 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta'in Billah and Her Majesty the Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah binti Al-Marhum Al-Mutawakkil Alallah Sultan Iskandar Al-Haj.
Also present to greet Their Majesties were His Royal Highness the Regent of Pahang, Tengku Mahkota Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah; Yang Amat Mulia Major Tengku Amir Nasser Ibrahim; and Yang Berhormat Dato' Seri Mohamed Azmin bin Ali, Minister of Economic Affairs of Malaysia, dan Datin Seri. Also present were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Pengiran Datin; and His Excellency Dato Paduka Haji Alaihuddin bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Lela Dato Seri Utama Haji Mohd. Taha, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia, and Datin. His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri then walked past a Static Guard of Honour mounted by members of the 1st Battalion of the Royal Ranger Regiment, the Malaysia Army.
A Doa selamat was then read by Yang Berbahagia Dato' Ustaz Abdul Aziz bin Che Yacob, Religious Officer at the Istana Negara.
Their Majesties were then invited to board a motorcade to a renowned hotel in Kuala Lumpur, where Their Majesties would be residing throughout the duration of the visit.
