Also present at His Majesty the Sultan’s Flight Hangar to bid farewell were Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran-Pengiran Cheteria; Cabinet Ministers; Members of the Privy Council; Deputy Ministers; Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force; and Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces; with their respective spouses. His Majesty and Her Majesty have arrived at the Changi International Airport.
Upon arrival, His Majesty and Her Majesty were welcomed by His Excellency Lawrence Wong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, and spouse, Mrs. Wong; His Excellency Edwin Tong, Minister of Culture, Community and Youth and Second Minister for Law, as Minister-in-Attendance and Madam Au Huey Ling as Lady-in-Attendance; and His Excellency Heng Aik Yeow, High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam and spouse. Also present to greet Their Majesties were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and spouse; and His Excellency Dato Paduka Haji Sidek bin Ali, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to the Republic of Singapore and spouse. The last State Visit of His Majesty and Her Majesty to the Republic of Singapore was held in July 2017 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Currency Interchangeability Agreement and attend the official launching of the Abode of Peace and the Lion City: A Brunei-Singapore Exhibition at the Singapore Philatelic Museum.
