Bandar seri begawan: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, recently held separate farewell audiences with outgoing foreign envoys at Istana Nurul Iman. The ceremonies were conducted on the afternoon of June 23rd.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the first audience was with Her Excellency Marian Jocelyn R. Tirol-Ignacio, the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines to Brunei Darussalam. Her Excellency had presented her Letter of Credence to His Majesty on May 24, 2022.
Following this, His Majesty received Her Excellency Caryn Roberta McClelland, the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Brunei Darussalam. Her Excellency also presented her Letter of Credence on May 24, 2022.
The final audience was held with His Excellency Tran Anh Vu, the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to Brunei Darussalam. His Excellency presented his Letter of Credence on September 13, 2023.
