The Medal also represents the strong partnership and friendship between the two countries. His Majesty expressed a commitment to strengthening ties and working collaboratively towards common goals. The ceremony took place at the Office of the President of Congress. According to Radio Television Brunei, His Majesty earlier held a meeting with His Excellency Eduardo Salhuana Cavides, President of the Congress. Following the meeting, His Majesty was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honour by His Excellency, which is the highest award given by the Congress of the Republic of Peru.
