Kuala lumpur: His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam attended a Gala Dinner on the evening of October 27th, celebrating the Heads of State and Government of ASEAN, Leaders of Dialogue Partners, Guests of the Chair, and the Secretary General of the United Nations who are in attendance at the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits. The event was hosted by Yang Amat Berhormat Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the Prime Minister of Malaysia and Chairman of ASEAN, along with his spouse, Dato’ Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail. His Majesty was accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.
According to Radio Television Brunei, upon arriving at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, His Majesty was greeted by the Prime Minister of Malaysia and his spouse. The evening’s agenda included a series of cultural performances, adding to the atmosphere of the gathering.
