Riyadh: His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, President of the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council, attended the fencing event of the Islamic Solidarity Games 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Upon his arrival, His Royal Highness was welcomed by His Excellency Awang Haji Harun bin Haji Junid, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to Saudi Arabia.
According to Radio Television Brunei, His Royal Highness observed the Men’s Individual Sabre event, which featured a Brunei Darussalam athlete. During the event, His Royal Highness offered advice and encouragement to the fencing athletes. National athlete Mohammad Haziq bin Asahrin competed against a participant from Iran in the first round.
