Two Malaysians were brought to the court for offences under the Passports Act Chapter 146. Both were arrested during the Operasi Bersepadu of the Immigration and National Registration Department at the Kuala Lurah Control Post recently.
18-year-old Glen Law Anak Nawin was found guilty for falsifying his identity by producing another person's passport to the Immigration officer at the arrival section of Sungai Tujoh Control Post. The offender was fined eight hundred Dollars or sentenced to 3-weeks imprisonment in default.
Meanwhile, 42-year-old Azim Zuefayrie Abdullah, also found guilty for abetting Glen Law Anak Nawin. The offender was fined eight hundred Dollars or sentenced to 3-weeks imprisonment in default.
