Knowledgeable and skilled social and volunteer associations' involvement must be expanded in helping to look for solutions on family issues and overcoming social problems. At the same time, a surrounding or Bi'ah in line with Islamic characteristics can produce a muslim individual who is sound minded, physically and spiritually. The statement was among the contents of the resolution of the International Fiqh Al-Usrah or Family Education Seminar, this afternoon.
The resolution that contained 13 matters emphasised on matrimonial practices or walimah al-Urus that must be understood by the muslim community with today's modernisation influence in order to gain blessings in matrimonial life. The resolution also underscored the important role of parents in shaping the children's individuality who are faithful based on the al-Quran and al-Hadis. The resolution was received by Dato Paduka Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. The seminar's theme was 'Pendidikan Kekeluargaan Menjana Generasi Berwawasan' or Family Education Generates Visionary Generation.
Earlier, the issue of managing family and career in an organisation; analysis on what is the Islamic approach in managing the matter specifically through discussions on al-Tadayyun, al-Maqasidi and al-Wasatiyyah approaches was tabled by Associate Professor Dr Sharifah Hayaati Syed Ismail al-Qudsy, Lecturer at the Islamic Studies Academy, Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. According to her, the two entities cannot be separated in today's muslim community life development including among women.
