Bandar seri begawan: The Islamic Architecture Symposium 2026 drew to a close with a resolution during its Closing Ceremony held at the Auditorium of Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was graced by the presence of Dayang Hajah Nur Kamilah binti Haji Ismail, Acting Deputy Director of Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, who served as the Acting Co-Chairperson of the symposium. A key highlight of the event was the presentation of certificates to 121 participants, acknowledging their engagement and contributions throughout the symposium.
Under the theme 'Barakah Dalam Bangunan: Amalan Seni Bina dan Kelestarian di Negara Brunei Darussalam,' the symposium was a part of the Brunei Mid-Year Conference and Exhibition 2026. It provided a platform for discussing the integration of traditional Islamic architectural practices with sustainable development in Brunei Darussalam.
