Johor State Islamic Religious Department Delegation Visits Ministry of Religious Affairs

Bandar Seri Begawan: Obtaining a broader view and understanding of the Religious Education System in the country, including the implementation of the Compulsory Religious Education Order, was among the purposes of the official visit from the delegation from the Johor State Islamic Religious Department, Malaysia, to the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Apart from that, the visit also aimed to further strengthen the cooperation and friendship between both parties.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the delegation was led by Dato' Doctor Haji Nooh bin Gadot and was feted at a luncheon. Present at the event was Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, the Minister of Religious Affairs. Also in attendance was His Excellency Datuk Mohd Aini Atan, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to the country.

Meanwhile, on the afternoon of 23rd April, the Pengiran Anak Puteri Norain Religious School in Tutong District received a visit from the delegation. The delegation is in the country for a three-day visit.
