Kampung kiulap: The Association of Children with Disabilities, KACA Brunei Darussalam, has once again demonstrated its commitment to nurturing the abilities of individuals with special needs in the nation. Recently, KACA held a Prize Presentation event at its Centre in Kampung Kiulap, highlighting the talents of 77 participants in the Coloring and Drawing Contest, alongside a Cooking and Handcraft Contest.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Haji Awang Abdul Alim bin Haji Awang Othman, the Managing Director of KACA, presented the awards. In the Coloring and Drawing Contest, Dayang Nur Habibah binti Abdullah from the Tutong KACA Centre emerged as the winner. The Cooking and Handcraft Contest saw participation from 39 individuals, with 12 participants receiving appreciation awards for their efforts.
The event underscores KACA’s ongoing efforts to empower children with disabilities and promote their artistic and practical skills, fostering a supportive environment where they can thrive and express themselves creatively.
