Health is a blessing from Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala that we must be grateful for. One of the ways to appreciate such blessing is by staying healthy and practising a healthy lifestyle. This was among the matters underlined in a Knowledge Convention 2020 forum titled 'Mensyukuri Nikmat Usia' held yesterday morning at the Tutong Civic Centre Complex. The forum was organised by the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA and the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College under the Knowledge Convention 2020 Side Event Working Committee.
In attendance was Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Ramli bin Haji Lahit and Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Abdul Wahab bin Apong, Members of the Legislative Council. The forum was presented by 3 panelists comprising Awang Haji Sammali bin Haji Adam, Director of the International and Public Relations Centre, UNISSA; Doctor Muhammad Nurhasanuddin Abdullah bin Abdullah Kelali, Geriatric Consultant, Ministry of Health; and Dayang Nurul Bazilah binti Haji Ali, Occupational Therapist, Ministry of Health. The forum also highlighted that blessings while being healthy must be utilised in the best way possible from the perspectives of Islam, in addition to improving overall level of mental and spiritual health.
A health-related exhibition is also held alongside several other activities including health screening and quizzes. The exhibition is open to the public until today, 10th of February from 9 in the morning to 12 in the afternoon.
