This improvement followed their narrow 6-5 victory over DDT FC on the night of May 3rd. According to Radio Television Brunei, the victory marked a significant leap for Kota Ranger in the league table. Concurrently, Shah United staged a remarkable comeback in another match at the same venue. Trailing 3-1, Shah United managed to secure a 7-5 victory against the second-placed Almerez HiTune. This result allowed Shah United to maintain their 4th position in the league, remaining three points shy of Kampung Buangkok FC, who are in third place.
