Bandar Seri Begawan: The Ministry of Health is committed to work closely to strengthen the provision of emergency care, foster innovation and improve clinical standards that are on par with international best practices. Speaking at the Launching of Brunei Emergency Care Society, BECS, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health also emphasised on the need to build a robust and integrated emergency care system that is prepared to face challenges and resilient. The event was held at a hotel in the capital.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the establishment of BECS marks the beginning of a vital initiative - a society formed by and for emergency care professionals in the country. The establishment is to support clinical education and training as well as strengthen public awareness.
