Launching Of Youth Centre Week Night Programme

Youths are urged to be united in utilising collaboration with each other. The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports will give its strong support to the country's youth in creative industry. Youths are therefore urged to identify creative activities with high impact and have the potential to be developed in the country or at overseas market. The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports emphasised these matters at the launching ceremony of Youth Centre Week Night in the capital on 5th January night.

Yang Berhormat (Retired) Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin added, with the presence of "collaborative space" at the Youth Centre, the innovative youths are hoped to work and collaborate in various creative areas through the Youth Centre Week Night Programme. The programme is hoped to become an attraction to all youths to organise more productive and innovative activities.

The Youth Centre Week Night, MMPB, showcased the entrepreneurship, arts and cultural activities, entertainment as well as other local talents from the creative industry. Among the objective was to revive the atmosphere at the Youth Centre, to enhance productivity as well as to encourage pro-active activities among the youths. Such programme is also hoped to maximise the usage of the centre all year long. Also in attendance were Yang Berhormat Awang Iswandy bin Haji Ahmad; Yang Berhormat Dayang Nik Hafimi binti Abdul Haadii, Yang Berhormat Awang Naim bin Haji Kamis, Members of the Legislative Council and Datin Paduka Doctor Hajah Norlila binti Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
