In conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidiladha Prayer, congregants are required to book slots in the Bruhealth App as well as to comply with the instructions and guidelines set by the Ministry of Health. At the Media Conference, Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister Of Religious Affairs also informed commencing 3rd of August 2020 corresponding to 12th of Zulhijah 1441, all mosque activities, surau and religious hall nationwide will move to level 4 des-escalation plan.
For the level 4 de-escalation plan, the Minister said, Mosques, Suraus and Religious Halls throughout the country are allowed to implement programmes and events in addition to activities that are currently underway such as Reading of Surah Yaasin, Tahlil, Ratib al-Attas, tazkirah or lectures, tadarus al-Quran and religious classes. Such activities are allowed with the capacity of not more than 100 people within 2 hours.
For the Fardhu Jumaat Prayer, the space capacity for the congregants is as usual and the booking of the Fardhu Jumaat Prayer slot in all mosques is no longer required. However, the use of face mask is still required. In this fourth stage, children aged 12 and above are allowed to perform the Fardhu Jumaat Prayer. Al-Quran and Muqaddam classes on Fridays are also allowed according to the guidelines set by the Department of Mosque Affairs as advised by the Ministry of Health.
