Malaysia and Brunei Strengthen Educational Ties at 68th National Day Reception

Bandar seri begawan: The shared heritage, language, and cultural values between Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam form a solid foundation for collaborative efforts in the education sector. Cooperation in education between both countries stands out through academic collaborations, scholarships, and joint research projects aimed at promoting knowledge sharing and capacity building.

According to Radio Television Brunei, speaking at a reception on the occasion of the 68th National Day of Malaysia, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei also highlighted the historical deep bond of friendship between the two nations. He emphasized that their shared history will guide both countries towards greater peace, prosperity, and harmony in the years to come. Hosted by the High Commission of Malaysia, the reception was held at the Royal Berkshire Hall, Tarindak D’Polo Jerudong.

Present on behalf of His Majesty’s Government was Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. In a speech, His Excellency Datuk Mohd Aini Atan underlined notable achievements in various cooperation between the two nations, including in the facets of economy, defence, tourism, education, and health.
