The delegation of Information and Public Relation officers from Malaysia who are currently in the country on a 5-day Exchange Programme, yesterday visited the Tutong District. The delegation made their first stop at the Tutong District Office.
The delegation was greeted by Awang Shamsul Bahrin bin Haji Mohd Hussain, Tutong district officer. The delegation heard a briefing on the role and structure of the Tutong District office as well as the development and progress of the district delivered by Dayang Faadzilah Haji Abd Rahim, Trainee Administration Officer of the Tutong district office. The visitors then took a closer look at the One Village One Product Gallery which displays the village products produced by members of the Kampung Consultative Council and residents in the district.
The delegation's next stop was Syarikat Golden Corporation Sendirian Berhad at the Serambangun Industrial Site which produces aquaculture and seafood products. Here, the visitors took a closer on the processing of seafood products.
The exchange programme is one of the projects agreed by both countries which among other things aim at giving exposure and information sharing on the role and function of the departments respectively.
