Gadong: The Introduction to Mental Health First Aid Workshop for Heads of Departments at the Ministry of Health concluded with a Closing Ceremony and Certificate Presentation at a hotel in Gadong on the afternoon of June 11th.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the certificates were presented by Pengiran Mohammad Khiruddin Bin Pengiran Haji Yusoff, who is the Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Management at the Ministry of Health. The workshop aimed to enhance sensitivity, awareness, and understanding of health issues and mental illness, particularly within the workplace. It saw participation from 30 heads of departments and was organized as part of the celebration of World Health Day for Safety and Health at Work at the Ministry of Health level.
The forum was organized with support from the Psychiatric Services and Psychological Services at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital, along with the Counselling Services Division of the Public Service Department.
