Bandar Seri Begawan: The Ministry of Finance and Economy, through its Revenue Division, recently hosted a Socialisation Session on Corporate Income Tax at the ministry’s premises. The session aimed to foster a deeper understanding of the taxation scope among corporate taxpayers and to enhance awareness of their obligations and responsibilities in complying with Corporate Income Tax regulations.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the session highlighted critical aspects such as the basis of tax assessment, the necessity for compliance in filing tax returns, and the accurate computation of taxes, all in accordance with the Income Tax Act, Chapter 35. This initiative is part of the Ministry of Finance and Economy’s ongoing efforts to bolster tax compliance and emphasize the significance of corporate taxes to the public, particularly targeting taxpayers within the country.
