Bolkiah Garrison: The Ministry of Defence conducted the rites of sacrifice ceremony at Surau Ad-Difa’, Bolkiah Garrison. The event took place on the afternoon of 9th June, marking a significant occasion for the ministry’s staff and associated community members.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony involved the sacrifice of eight buffaloes and two goats, which were then distributed to 150 recipients. Among the beneficiaries were staff members of the Ministry of Defence, 20 military retirees, and 30 new converts. The handover of the sacrificial meat was officiated by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Hj Mohd Yussof, who serves as the Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence.
