Ministry of Health Commemorates International Nurses and Midwifery Day with Special Ceremony

Bandar Seri Begawan: In conjunction with the International Nursing and Midwifery Day Celebration, the Ministry of Health organized a mass Sunat Hajat and Fardu Asar Prayers, Tahlil and Doa Kesyukuran ceremony on the afternoon of 12th May. The event took place at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was attended by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, the Minister of Health. During the event, there was a presentation of four fan units to Awang Abdol Hazis bin Haji Ahad, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital.

The ceremony was part of the larger celebration of International Nursing and Midwifery Day, aimed at honoring the contributions of nurses and midwives in the healthcare sector. The event highlighted the Ministry of Health's commitment to supporting healthcare workers and improving hospital facilities.
