Bandar seri begawan: A delegation from the Ministry of Home Affairs took part in the Maulidur Rasul celebration held at Istana Nurul Iman on the evening of September 1st. The ceremony was attended by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs, and featured Al-Qur’an reading, a tazkirah, and a dikir performance. Participants included the Brunei Youth Council, Mosque Youth group from Az-Zakireen Mosque, Meragang, and Tutong District Village Consultative Councils, as well as officers and religious teachers from Brunei Dua ‘B’ zone.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the Ministry of Finance and Economy also marked the Maulidur Rasul Celebration with a Dikir Syarafil Anam Ceremony at the Mohamed Bolkiah Mosque in Kampung Serusop. The event was attended by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Economy.
In addition, the Ministry of Education organized a Dikir Maulud Ceremony at An-Na’im Mosque in Kampung Panchor Mengkubau. Pengiran Doctor Mohamad Iskandar bin Pengiran Haji Petra, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Corporate at the Ministry of Education, was present at the event.
The Ministry of Home Affairs and its departments also held a Dikir Maulud at Kampung Sibut Religious Hall, with Awang Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar, Acting Temburong District Officer, leading the delegation. Members of The Legislative Council were also in attendance.
A similar ceremony took place at Masjid Universiti, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, attended by delegations from Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam, Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei, and the Muslimah of Omar ‘Ali Saifuddin Mosque.
