The Irrigation Office 1, by the Lamphun Irrigation Project, has collaborated with local agencies to install large water pumps at various floodgates in Mueang Lamphun, including Ping Hang, Rong Kas, Plai Mueang, Chonlakhan Phinich Weir (Old Mae Ping), and Long Phra Puan, and has installed water pushers at Sop Tha to expedite water drainage in the area into the Ping River as quickly as possible to reduce the impact of flooding problems in both Saraphi District, Chiang Mai Province and Lamphun. Meanwhile, the amount of water entering Lamphun Province is the highest amount. After this, the water level will start to stabilize. It is expected that in another 1-2 days, the water level will gradually decrease.
