Bandar seri begawan: The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) and UnionPay International is set to enhance cross-border travel and payment experiences across Brunei, China, and the wider region. Present at the signing was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf Bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the MoU reflects the shared vision of Royal Brunei Airlines, UnionPay International, and other stakeholders to promote cross-border tourism and strengthen Brunei’s position as a digitally connected travel hub in the region. This agreement marks a significant milestone in supporting the growing outbound and inbound tourism while promoting the adoption of secure and convenient payment solutions for travelers.
