Exchange Ceremony of Memorandum of Agreement Strengthens Brunei Darussalam-Sarawak Relations

Bandar seri begawan: Business and economic relations between Brunei Darussalam and Sarawak have been reinforced through the Exchange Ceremony of Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between Sahamada Corporation Sendirian Berhad (Sahamada) and the Land Custody and Development Authority, LCDA Agri Business Sendirian Berhad, a subsidiary of LCDA Sarawak. The MoA pertains to the Rimbunan Kaseh (RK) Sundar Project in Lawas. The ceremony took place at the Sarawak Trade and Tourism Office Brunei in the capital.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was witnessed by Yang Berhormat Dato Paduka Seri Laila Jasa Datuk Amar Haji Awang Tengah bin Ali Hassan, Deputy Premier of Sarawak, Second Minister For Natural Resources and Urban Development, and Minister For International Trade, Industry and Investment, Sarawak, along with Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin from the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. The MoA signifies a new phase of cooperation between Sahamada and LCDA, focusing on economic collaboration, investment opportunities, and exploring joint ventures in sustainable development and industrial growth between Brunei Darussalam and Sarawak.
