Brunei: The ‘Movember Mania’ event, a significant initiative aimed at raising awareness about mental health and cancer among men, is currently underway at the Jerudong Park Wonderpark Colonnade. Organized by ‘Moto Shed Company’ and ‘Mike And Mesh’, this two-day event was officially opened by Awang Haji Mohd Yusree bin Haji Junaidi, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event is not just a celebration but a movement to redefine men’s health and well-being in the country. It emphasizes vulnerability, strength, and community support. The event includes an educational festival and various activities such as the ‘Braaap For Our Bros’ motorcycle convoy, barber and coffee competitions, and health screenings. These activities aim to engage the community and highlight the importance of health awareness and support among men.
