It is important for a da’ie to always maintain his wudhu or ablution before and during delivering talks to the public. They must also plan what they will disseminate to the listeners and not to carelessly present without the correct references. These were among the matters included in the talk at the Multaqa Da’ie with Professor Doctor Haji Abdul Somad Batubara at the Dewan Persidangan, Islamic Da’wah Centre, 28th January morning.
The talk titled ‘Memperkasa Da’ie Berkaliber Mercu Kejayaan Ummah Berkualiti’ also explained that a da’ie must take care of their appearance in terms of attire and must always hold meetings with other da’ie.
At the function, Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs presented a souvenir to the invited speaker. Among the programme’s objective was for it to act as a platform for the da’ie to meet clerics and get opportunities to gain knowledge as well as strengthen the credibility of Islamic Da’wah Centre officers in da’wah. Also present were Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs and Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Japar bin Haji Mat Dain @ Maidin, Deputy State Mufti.
