The newly appointed Members of the Legislative Council expressed their gratitude towards His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam for their appointment. According to the Members of the Legislative Council, the duties that are entrusted to them will be carried out to the best of their abilities.
