Bandar seri begawan: The practice of reciting selawat towards Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam holds significant virtues and advantages, as highlighted during the 195th Munajat Night organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The event emphasized the numerous benefits of selawat, including receiving Allah’s tenfold blessings and being closest to Prophet Muhammad on the Day of Resurrection.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the talk titled ‘The Benefits of Reciting Selawat’ was a core feature of the event. Participants included members of the Tutong District New Converts Association, PESATU, along with the takmir committee and congregants of Kampung Penabai Mosque, Kuala Tutong, and Al-Muhtadee Billah Mosque, Kampung Sungai Kebun. Several mosques, suraus, and religious halls nationwide also took part in the occasion.
