The National Level Maulidur Rasul Assembly is also held at 3 other districts.
In the Belait District, it will take place at the Mohammad Jamalul Alam Mosque, Kuala Belait. The Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque will be the focal point for the assembly in Tutong District, whereas in Temburong District, it will be held at the Kampung Rataie National Housing Scheme Mosque. In together curbing the spread of COVID-19 in the country, the Major Islamic Events Celebration Committee of 1442 Hijrah Secretariat inform that guests, the public and congregants who will attend the assembly are reminded to adhere to the guidelines stipulated by the Ministry of Health.
This includes registering via the BruHealth application to obtain the green or yellow code; take ablution at home before going to the mosque, surau and religious hall; wearing face mask is compulsory; bring own prayer mat; scan the QR code and take body temperature checks.
Aside that, attendees are required to sanitise their hand using hand sanitizers; carry out social and physical distancing; and avoid shaking hands with others, and not to attend the assembly if feeling unwell. Meanwhile, children below 12 years old and women are not allowed to attend.
