Bandar seri begawan: His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, attended the Nationwide Kesyukuran Ceremony on July 28 in honor of His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri’s Diamond Wedding Anniversary. The event took place at Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kampung Kiarong, with His Royal Highness’s brother, Prince ‘Abdul Malik, also in attendance.
According to Radio Television Brunei, upon his arrival, the Crown Prince was welcomed by several dignitaries, including Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris bin Pengiran Maharaja Lela Pengiran Muda Abdul Kahar, Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara. Also present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs, and Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence.
The ceremony featured a Mass Fardu Maghrib Prayer led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar. He also led the Mass Sunat Hajat prayer, along with the reading of Surah Yasin and the Doa Kesyukuran. The event was a testament to the affection and respect of the nation’s citizens and residents towards Their Majesties.
