Temburong: In conjunction with the 79th Royal Birthday Celebration, the Temburong District Mukim and Village Consultative Council organized a Nationwide Mukim-Mukim Sports event. The event showcased 14 traditional sports at the Temburong Sports Complex on the morning of August 31.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event kicked off with a nine-kilometer cycling race. The race saw participation from notable figures, including Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs. Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, a Member of the Legislative Council, was also in attendance.
The Temburong District emerged as the overall champion of the event, with Brunei Muara District taking second place. Tutong District and Belait District secured third and fourth places, respectively. Prizes were awarded by Awang Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar, Acting Temburong District Officer.
