Nationwide Recycling Day Promotes Sustainable Practices Across Brunei

Brunei: The Nationwide Recycling Day initiative led by the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation, JASTRE, served as a key platform to elevate public consciousness regarding recycling and sustainable waste management. This program provided an opportunity for the public to contribute various recyclables and discover the potential value of items typically discarded.

According to Radio Television Brunei, in Brunei Muara District, the event took place at JASTRE’s office in Anggerek Desa and ‘Taman Rekreasi Mini Perayaan Kampung Parit.’ Participants contributed materials such as papers, plastic bottles, e-waste, and used cooking oil, highlighting the community’s engagement in recycling efforts.
