Bandar seri begawan: Two flyovers at the intersections of Jalan Utama Mentiri and Jalan Muara and Jalan Penghubung Tanah Jambu, along with the slip road from Perumahan Negara Kampung Panchor, Mengkubau to Jalan Utama Mentiri, are now open to road users. The project, managed by the Ministry of Development through the Roads Department, Public Works Department, commenced operations on 2nd August 2025.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the official opening ceremony was led by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, the Minister of Development. The initiative, which cost approximately 26 million dollars, was designed to accommodate the increase in traffic volume and to enhance the road network system.
These infrastructure developments are expected to significantly improve traffic flow and connectivity in the area, addressing the needs of the growing number of road users. The project underscores the government’s commitment to improving transportation infrastructure to meet the demands of urban growth.
